Method
To assemble this fruit-bomb we included our premium, minimal irrigation parcel (approx 10%) with another exclusively dry-grown Shiraz (5%). Subtle oak use left room for the fruit to take centre stage.
Results
Our style creates an approachable wine with a lovely round finish. The 18’ vintage is our fullest, juiciest most plush yet. This wine has been created to drink young. Waiting is a wasted endevour.
Conclusion
The Heathcote terroir is sought for the structure and spiciness it imparts in Shiraz. We keep it simple, letting the red soil do the talking in creating a full-bodied, silky-smooth Shiraz.
