The second skin-contact white produced at Vinea Marson, with the 2016 Friulano #7 Mario embraces the innovative winemaking style of north-eastern Italy and the traditions of his family’s winemaking heritage.

Vinea Marson’s Friulano is made from fruit grown for Vinea Marson in the Alpine Valleys of North-Eastern Victoria. The Friulano #7 possesses a vibrant orange hue, due to the seven days it spent on skins during fermentation. It displays enticing aromas of poached pears and orange blossom, followed by elegant phenolics on the palate and a pleasant, lengthy finish. This full-bodied and textured wine is best enjoyed with white meat such as veal, chicken and pork and fish including salmon and snapper.
