Medium bodied and luscious on the palate showing cocoa nib, shaved cooking chocolate and an earthy edge which are accentuated by lifted spirit aromas due to the brandy fortification process.
The acidity, alcohol and ripe flavours all integrate seamlessly producing a long lasting finish. This wine is drinking well now and will age gracefully into a voluptuous, full bodied ‘classic port style’ wine.
