I have always loved this variety and style of wine. Natala and I were the first to plant Sangiovese grapes in the Heathcote region 20 years ago. The colour displays that typical rose colour that even a newly made Sangiovese wine has. The aroma, very varietal in its savoury sourness of cherry fruit. The fruit aromatics are a little more mature due to its extra time in oak. The palate of medium weight berries leaves a velvety linger in the mid mouth with a clean firm tannin acid finish.

Drinking well now and try over the next 6-8 years.
