Pinot Gris was harvested from a small planting perched upon the prized red soils of the Heathcote Mt Camel range. A single batch was fermented to dryness then bottled to drink whilst young, fresh & vibrant.

Results

Our warm climate influence produces juicy stone fruit flavours in Pinot Gris. The wine is dry with light spice, calm acidity, and a zingy, fresh finish.

Conclusion

Grigio style wines are being swept up far and wide by those in the know. Newbies embrace them easily, old-hats enjoy them knowingly. Grigio loves sunshine and easy food. Jump in, this is one new wave you will want to ride.

Winery notes Gentle press, slow ferment using selected yeast at 15˚C over 3 weeks. Cold settled and racked off gross lees. Maturation on light lees in stainless steel

Palate Dry & fruity. Pear, honeysuckle, lemon zest
