A playful move away from our typical sangiovese / nebbiolo blend - with nebbiolo yields down in the 2021 vintage leading to a stand-alone Sangiovese rosato.
An even growing season resulted in bright, balanced fruit and a nose of enticing strawberries and cream. On the palate savouriness comes into play, with sour cherry wood and pleasing phenolics accompanying tart strawberries and yellow nectarine character. A pleasing finish with balanced acid and tannin, this easy-drinking Rosato is best enjoyed with antipasto and pizza for up to 4 years.
